Happiness
2 things make me happy:
1) This - one of my favourite books turning into what seems to be a fabulous movie by Mira Nair. I can't wait! First I need to re-read it! Good thing I bought a copy...
2) The boy gave me a list of books to look for at the NUS library. It's like a treasure hunt. First you locate the shelf, then the row, then the moment you spot the book, you score.
I really should go back to school - and I really can't wait.

The Pinoy Adventure (Easy Way Out)
I know I've lapsed on the travelogue for the Philippines, as I did with all the other travelogues. What I've done instead is to upload on Flickr some photos with comments and explanations.

A Green Wedding
I've always toyed with the idea of a green-themed wedding - colour wise of course. And I've been thinking of making the wedding as socially conscious as an event can be. However, reading this article reminds me to think about the environmental repercussions too. This is one event with possibly a lot of wastage incurred and the Boy and I will have 250 people at our "disposal" to share about some of the values we care about be it social or environmental issues.
It's quite the time to re-think having a dream wedding, or having a wedding that is quite in line with our dreams of a better world to live in.
