Half Marathon Preparation
Ran 5km last night and I feel my legs crumbling today. What happened to those days when I could run 6km DAILY with no effort. I have to do four times what I did last night. Can I increase one-fold everymonth for 4 months?

Loving Life, Living Life, Changing Life
Took Friday afternoon off for a break from routine. Went for driving lesson and I got myself an instructor who directed me to a remote industrial estate and encouraged me to drive at 80km/hr. I like. :)
Finally watched Garden State on DVD and loved it to bits. It is nothing I expected and so much more than what everyone raved about. The soundtrack was wonderfully, script perfect and Natalie Portman utterly charming.
I like to learn how to be happy, even if it's from movies.
So it was a great Friday afternoon (almost) alone, but sometimes, it's the little things you do for yourself that make you survive a little longer, and love life a little more.

I Love Huckabees
Hilarious, bizzare, sincere movie that got me out of my crummy mood into hysterics about life.

On Repeat
When I learned that Tony Takitani, the short story by Murakami turned into film, is opening at the Picturehouse come 31 Aug, I hyperventilated a little. I've caught at the Japanese Film Festival last year and I held my breath in awe throughout the movie.
I can't wait to catch it again.
