Food Posting

I am to start a food blog with the Boy, but until we decide what kinda food blog it's gonna be, I shall post our gastronomical adventures here.

Shimizu Japanese Restaurant, 6 Jan (3rd Month Anniversary)

I extracted my wisdom tooth a few days before and was sick of porridge and the "water diet". Those who know me personally will know that I naturally crave for hotpot (in any form) whenever I need comfort food. So I asked for the Japanese hotpot and since Keyagi was undergoing renovation, the Boy found this little restaurant in the middle of nowhere for us to go to.

For appetiser, we had steamed bean curd with century egg. It was fantabulous!

So more but tasty!

Then came the nabe (hot pot) with sliced raw beef.

too little beef for two red meat enthusiasts!

lots of mushrooms and free flow of soup, good for me!

We had a sashimi platter but the Boy ain't too keen on raw fish, it gets kinda lonely eating when there's no one to fight for food with.

I think I'm contributing to the over-fishing

It was a good dining experience all in all. Service was prompt and swift. But the toilets at the country club were nasty. I guess I will visit the restaurant again, but I will sure remember to use the toilet elsewhere first!
