The Good Death

This week's New York Magazine deals with issues closest to my heart. Un-pop Culture, Mental Illness and Death. Sometimes I think I must be warped for such issues to pervade my study life and now, still, my bookshelf. But Everything Is Important.

Death - the removal of life - is already a humuliating defeat for humans. How does one then die, dignified?

If you ask me, I don't think a good death matters to the dying, but to those left behind - the living. We are a selfish bunch, arn't we?
