Foie Gras is Evil
I didn't know they force feed (tube feed) ducks and geese to get delectably juicy livers for panfrying at fancy restaurants. I guess Foie Gras is off the menu now - like Shark's Fin and Tuna.
Oh wella, delicious it might be (White Bait & Kale!), it's too expensive to be worth it anyway.

White Bait and Kale is not the place to eat fois gras in Singapore. How did you NOT know that all animals we eat or catch suffer? I am a carnivore because my eyes are at the front of my head and I'm suppose to be.
I found your blog while doing a bit of research for my book about love and Singapore life...it's errr...brave in places. Do you write professionally at all or is this purely cathartic?

Good point ho-zhang, except I make choices based on my big smart brain, and not because I have eyes in front of my head.
Natural carnivores catch and eat their prey, they don't force feed them with a tube just because they're eyes are in front of their head.
Based on your logic, I should be walking up to every girl I see and mating with her because I want to, cuz hey, I'm a primate.
Oh yeah, we're omnivores BTW. That's why we have teeth for tearing and teeth for grinding.
