Womad 2004

I was taken away by the music and the work to find time for many pictures. But here's a glimpse of my weekend. :)

sitting around waiting to attend to the performers

The other side of the picture:Main stage taken from backstage.

One of the glimpses into the little boy he is

Talvin Singh with Sultan Khan: He really enjoys his music.

enraptured by music

Crowd entranced by Talvin Singh and Sultan Khan

One cool mama

Zap Mama: Fabulous performers

Saturday night's crowd was the best

The crowd was up on their feet jumping on Sat night from the dynamic performances of Darra J and Zap Mama

Heartbreaking Yasmin Levy

The ethereal Yasmin Levy on stage: She has a voice reminiscent of Francois Hardy. They both make me want to cry.
